We continue to transform Estació Barcelona Nord, managed by Barcelona de Serveis Municipals S.A., to consolidate it as Barcelona's new tourist mobility hub. This transformation responds to the objective of promoting local tourism and improving mobility in the city. The station has recently received 4.8 million euros from the Next Generation European Funds to promote this project, which, among other things, includes:

-Converting this emblematic building into a point of interest in the centre of Barcelona.

-Recovering the old station concourse and developing a new operations model on a single floor.

-Refurbish all the facilities to improve people's experience.

-Concentrate the main departures and arrivals of tourist coaches at the station to pacify the city centre.

-Further enhance the centrality and intermodality of the station.

-Change the leisure model

-Dynamise the station with tourist activities.

-Promoting companies in the sector
