We want to boost your travelling spirit by inspiring you with the stories of five women travelers who marked a before and after:

Nellie Bly, was the first recognized reporter in the field of investigative journalism, and achieved her goal of travelling the world in 72 days, all in the middle of the 19th century.

Amelia Earhart was the first woman to fly over the Atlantic. She undertook the journey from Los Angeles, via Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, New Guinea, among others.

Alicia Somosa, a Spanish journalist and writer, was the first Spanish-speaking European woman to make a two-year solo journey on her motorbike.

Annie Londonderry, undertook the adventure of riding her bike around the world. Supported by more than 500 people, she set off from Boston and travelled through countries such as France, Egypt, Sri Lanka and Singapore, returning to the United States 15 months after the start of her feat.

Rosie Swalw-Pope, with the aim of raising funds for cancer research, decided to ride around the world, leaving her home in Wales to pass through places such as Alaska, Canada, New York and Scotland; in total, she covered 32,000 kilometers in five months.
