For what purpose do we process personal data?

What legitimizes us to process the data?

How do we get the data?

Video surveillance

BSM will process images captured using camera and camcorder systems (in real-time recording and viewing mode) in accordance with the following information:

PURPOSE: To preserve the security and protection of persons and property as well as to preserve the security and operability of the equipment and facilities of the entity.

LEGITIMATION: The legal basis for the processing of images through camera or video camera systems in the institution's facilities is:

  • Fulfilling a public interest mission to ensure the safety of people, property and facilities.
  • The legitimate interest consists in the need of BSM.SA responsible for the treatment, to establish supervision measures for the verification of the fulfillment by the workers by their labor obligations.

ADDRESSEES: The images may be transferred to the State Security Forces and Bodies, as well as to the Courts and Tribunals in compliance with a legal obligation applicable to BSM.SA as the controller.

STORAGE: Images captured by the video surveillance camera system will be retained for a maximum of one month after capture. Once this has been done, they will be removed, except when they must be kept to prove the commission of acts that threaten the integrity of people, property or facilities.

In cases where the camera system used is real-time viewing, the images will not be preserved as long as no images are recorded or stored.
