Travelling rights
Among other things, the European Union’s measures in the area of bus or coach transport now guarantee a high level of protection for passengers, comparable to other means of transport, regardless of the place they are travelling to. Furthermore, the requirements with regard to consumer protection in general must also be taken into account.
Given that bus and coach passengers form the weakest part of the transport contract, they have to be provided with a minimum level of protection.
