People with  reduced mobility

The Coach Station is implementing an assistance service for people with reduced mobility, with the aim of making their travel by coach easier.

Who can request this service?

All people who can certify their disability.

Different disabilities:

BLND-Passengers with visual deficiencies and the blind, with or without seeing eye dogs

DPNA-Passengers with some type of mental or developmental disability

WCHS-Passengers who require assistance for going up and down stairs and who need a wheelchair to move from the station to the coach

MASS-Passengers who require assistance and who do not fit into any of the other categories

DEAF-Passengers with hearing difficulties, the deaf or mute

WCHR-Passengers who are self-sufficient to go up or down stairs, as well as moving within the coach, but who need a wheelchair to move from the station to the coach

WCHC-Totally immobile passengers, who can only move with a wheelchair and who need assistance at all times

What do I have to do?

You must request the service at least 72 hours before your travel date. You must also fill in and submit the attached form.

The Coach Station will always confirm or refuse your request.

If you no longer require the service, please notify us as soon as possible (at least one day before departure). 

You can be dropped off at the station in a car and stop in the unloading zone only for the time required for getting out of the car, following station personnel’s instructions at all times. In this case, you will need to have indicated the car model and its number plate in the field for comments on the form. The vehicle cannot remain inside the station and the driver cannot leave the vehicle at any time. If you do need to park the vehicle, you can only do so in the car park next to the station, which is connected directly to it.

You should also provide advance notification of any needs you may have during travel, by contacting the transport company with whom you will be travelling.

Meeting point 

On the day of travel, go to the station meeting point, located on the ground floor, at least one hour before the departure of your coach. At the request of station personnel, you should show identification, with the aim of verifying your PRM status, present the documentation provided on the service assistance form.

From this point on, our personnel will help you with everything you may need for your trip and will accompany you to the platform from which your coach will depart.

Travellers arriving at the Barcelona-Nord Coach Station

Our personnel will be waiting for you on the platform to accompany you to the exit or to use any service at the station that you may need. At the request of station personnel, you should show identification, with the aim of verifying your PRM status, presenting the documentation provided on the service assistance form.

Recommendations

For proper provision of the assistance service, you may only have one piece of luggage, which cannot weigh more than 20 kg.
